Gates, slopes, soft ground and parking. If the tipper can't reach the spot, we tip as close as we safely can.
Bigger orders
Anything over 1.3 tonnes goes as more than one trip. You see the trip count before you order.

Which stone do I need?
Under a drive, path or patio: MOT Type 1. On top of a drive: 20mm shingle or golden gravel. Drainage: 40mm shingle. Concrete: 20mm ballast. Slabs and screed: sharp sand. Mortar: building sand. Not sure? Send a photo of the job and we tell you.
How many tonnes do I need?
Each material on this page shows roughly what a tonne covers at its usual depth. Measure the area, divide by that figure, and round up. We carry up to 1.3 tonnes a trip.
