A half load is our most popular option for room clear-outs and weekend declutters in Broadstone. Half a transit van holds roughly a sofa plus a few bags plus a couple of smaller items — think one room's worth of stuff. 1930s detached and semi-detached with large gardens across Lower Blandford Road, Hillbourne and Dunyeats often accumulate a room's worth of clutter that needs shifting. Mix and match anything — furniture, bags, appliances, garden waste. We load it all, you don't lift a finger. Affluent residential area popular with families. Larger gardens and garages mean more clearance and garden waste jobs. The half load is the sweet spot between single-item collections and a full van clear-out.
Need the whole van? Upgrade to a full load for just £150 more (£329 total)
Better value
Most customers upgrade: a full load is just £150 more and fills the entire van. Clear everything in one go.
BCP Council's bulky waste service charges £37.50 for up to 3 items and each item counts separately. A sofa, a bookcase, and a mattress? That's three separate items. With a TipRun half load, you fill half the van with whatever you want — one price, no item counting.

To shift a half van's worth of stuff to Nuffield Recycling Centre (2.8 miles from Broadstone), you'd need 3-4 car trips. That's a full morning gone — loading, driving, unloading, sorting into the right skips, driving back, repeating. Vans and trailers require a free permit — apply online at least 5 working days ahead. One TipRun half load collection takes about 30 minutes and costs less than the fuel and time for multiple tip trips.
Easy access throughout. Wide roads, most homes have driveways. A few cul-de-sacs can be tight for larger vehicles. For half load collections, we'll need clear access to everything being collected. Have items gathered in one area where possible — front garden, driveway, garage, or one room. Driveways standard. Free on-street parking. No permit zones. Wide residential roads.
From £179. WhatsApp a photo and we reply with the price and a time.
Half a transit van — roughly a sofa plus 5-6 bags plus a couple of small items. Think: one room's worth of stuff. If you're unsure, send us photos and we'll tell you if it's a half or full load.
Yes — that's the beauty of a half load. Furniture, bin bags, small appliances, garden waste, boxes. Mix anything in. We sort and recycle at the other end.
We'll tell you on site. You can upgrade to a full load (from £329) and just pay the difference. No nasty surprises — we agree the price before we start loading.
Often the same day in Broadstone. Ask us and we'll tell you if we can fit it in. We're based in Poole, 8 min from Broadstone.
Usually yes. A mini skip in Broadstone costs £200–350, sits on your drive for days, and you still load it yourself. A TipRun half load is from £179, we do the loading, and we're gone in 30 minutes.
